Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

The short version. Your medicines, schedules and saved photos stay on your phone. When you use the AI assistant, what you ask is sent to Google Gemini to write the answer and is not kept afterwards. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.

1. What stays on your phone

Everything you enter into Adwiyati is stored on your device only:

  • Medicine names, dosages and schedules
  • Photos you save to a medicine
  • Your dose history
  • Your language and app settings

We cannot see any of it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

2. The AI assistant

Adwiyati includes a chat assistant that answers questions about your medicines and about using the app. It only works while you are using it.

When you send a message, this is transmitted:

  • Your question
  • Any photos you attach (a medicine box or a prescription)
  • Your medicine names and doses, so the answer fits what you actually take
  • The recent messages of that conversation, so follow-up questions make sense
  • Your app language and an anonymous installation number

This is sent to Google Gemini, which writes the answer and sends it back. Google is the only AI provider we use. Nothing you send is stored on our servers afterwards.

Google processes it under their own terms: Google Privacy Policy.

3. What we keep on our servers

Only two small things, and neither contains health information:

  • An anonymous installation number — a random code created on your phone the first time you use the assistant. It lets us stop one device from flooding the service, and count how many phones use the assistant each month. It is not linked to you, and uninstalling the app throws it away.
  • Usage totals — how many questions were asked in a month, and how much AI processing they used, so we can see what the service costs to run.

4. Reporting an answer

Every AI answer has a small flag icon. If you report one, we store that answer, the reason you chose, and any note you write, so we can look into it and improve the assistant. Nothing else is attached — no photo, no medicine list.

5. No account, no personal details

Adwiyati has no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth, and we do not have them.

6. Camera and photos

The camera permission is used for one thing: photographing a medicine box or a prescription, either to save it to a medicine or to ask the assistant about it. Photos you save stay on your phone. Photos you send to the assistant go to Google Gemini for that one answer and are not stored afterwards.

7. Crash reports and analytics

If the app crashes, a technical error report is sent to the developer through Firebase Crashlytics, so the problem can be fixed. Firebase Analytics records anonymous usage such as which screens are opened. Neither contains your medicines or any health information.

8. Children

Adwiyati is intended for adults managing their own or a family member's medication. It is not directed at children.

9. Not medical advice

Adwiyati is a reminder and educational tool. Neither the app nor its AI assistant provides medical diagnosis or treatment advice, and AI answers can be wrong. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before changing anything about your medication.
